Seniors are an important part of any vibrant community. In honour of Seniors’ Week, the Cremona Community Engagement Site and the Cremona FCSS are holding a special lunch on June 11th to recognize our community seniors. The lunch will be held in Cremona School on the gymnasium stage. Entertainment will be talented pianist, Wisdom Wan, a Cremona School student. Lunch will be provided. Registration is required, please contact the Engagement Site to register.

AFTERNOON AT THE MOVIES – Murder on the Orient Express

A lavish trip through Europe quickly unfolds into a race against time to solve a murder aboard a train. When an avalanche stops the Orient Express dead in its tracks, the world’s greatest detective — Hercule Poirot — arrives to interrogate all passengers and search for clues before the killer can strike again.

Welcome to Rural Learning Opportunities

We provide high speed internet, video conferencing and other interactive educational technology, along with onsite learning support to rural Albertans – connecting our community to the world. We offer post secondary courses, health and wellness, business sessions, courses to improve employability, computer courses, after school student classes and general interest classes to our community members. We also have two meeting rooms available to the public and business  to rent.  The large room holds 20 comfortably and offers presentation technology and the ability to run video conferencing.  The smaller, private room holds 6 comfortably and has the ability to video conference.  

The Cremona Community Engagement Site is in partnership with Campus Alberta Central to offer on-line support to local residents who wish to take college classes in the comfort of their own homes or in our learning environment.
